What time is UFC Atlanta on today?
- Date: Saturday, June 14
- Start time: 10 p.m. ET | 7 p.m. PT
- Location: State Farm Arena – Atlanta, Georgia
The main card for UFC Atlanta begins at 10 p.m. ET, with the prelims starting at 7 p.m. ET. Usman and Buckley should make their way to the octagon around 12:15 a.m. ET, depending on how long the undercard fights last.
A former UFC welterweight champion, Usman (20-4) last fought in 2023. The 2015 Ultimate Fighter winner and three-time NCAA Division II All-American wrestler is on a three-fight losing streak after dominating the division for years.
Ranked fifth in the rankings, the 38-year-old believes his path back to the top begins in Atlanta.
Buckley (21-6) is ranked seventh and on a six-fight win streak. The 31-year-old has 15 wins via knockout, winning four of those six fights via the power punch.
After beating former contenders and interim champions, Buckley eyes a title fight if he can take down “The Nigerian Nightmare.”
“You already know once we beat Kamaru Usman, it’s title time,” Buckley said on his Buck What You Heard show via MMA Fighting. “It’s time to go get my belt. There’s no other person that’s been doing what I’ve been doing in the roster.
“I don’t really like to talk about other people and their careers, but like I said, mine’s been unmatched with not just having 15 fights within the promotion within five years, but as well going undefeated in the welterweight division. Also, knocking out every ranked opponent and like I said, might get my fourth knockout of my ranked opponent in Kamaru Usman.”
