This summer is going to be an exciting one in the UFC, as the promotion continues to announce key fights in multiple weight classes. One of the latest will take place in the middleweight division at UFC 319.
Former UFC title challenger Jared Cannonier will square off with ex-Bellator contender Michael Page on August 16 when the Octagon visits Chicago and the United Center.

Cannonier, a 41-year-old from Dallas, rebounded from back-to-back losses by finishing Gregory Rodrigues in February. That performance earned him a “Fight of the Night” bonus and was his 18th career win, with 11 of those coming by way of knockout.
Back in 2022, Cannonier challenged then-champion Israel Adesanya for the belt, losing via decision. He had won two straight entering that bout and five of six overall.
Page is 2-1 since joining the UFC following an extended run in Bellator that included a bout for the interim welterweight title. He owns decision win over Sharabutdin Magomedov and Kevin Holland around a loss to Ian Machado Garry, making him 23-3 overall with 20 wins by TKO or submission.
UFC 319 will mark the return of the promotion to Chicago for the first time since UFC 238 in June 2019. In the main event, Dricus du Plessis defends his middleweight championship against Khamzat Chimaev.
