According to BBC Sport, the Red Devils have set a £30 million price tag for the 22-year-old.
Ruben Amorim’s side are in the market for a new striker and they are involved in a transfer battle with Newcastle United for Sesko.
Sesko’s pursuit has cast doubt over Hojlund’s future at Old Trafford, with the Manchester titans open to offers for the Dane.
The young centre-forward joined United two years ago in a deal worth up to £72m.
But after failing to meet expectations in Manchester, the club are prepared to sell him for £30m, which would represent a loss given the forward’s £43m book value.
Hojlund bagged only four goals in 32 Premier League appearances last season, but he scored twice in Wednesday’s friendly against Bournemouth.
Despite United’s interest in Sesko, the Denmark international has made it clear he wants to stay and fight for his place at the club.
But the Red Devils need to make sales to ensure they remain compliant with the league’s profit and sustainability rules.
They have spent almost £130m on forwards Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha so far this summer.
