It wasn’t meant to be! Atlas suffered their second loss in the Leagues Cup and were eliminated from the competition. The Red and Blacks fell 3-1 to Orlando City.
The Major League Soccer team showed no mercy against the Mexican team, taking the lead from the 5th minute.
Although Matías Cóccaro evened the score at the start of the second half, the chances of a comeback were short-lived for the Guadalajara team, as two minutes later Martín Ojeda scored the 2-1.
The additional time was not better for Atlas, as in addition to losing Cóccaro to a red card, Marco Pašalić sealed the deal with the third goal.
