Kenny Wallace comes from a racing family. His brother Rusty won 55 NASCAR Cup Series races and the 1989 championship. Kenny had a lengthy NASCAR career of his own that spanned from 1988 to 2015 and included nine wins in the Xfinity Series.

He also worked for years as an analyst for Fox’s NASCAR coverage.

Since retiring from racing and reporting, the 61-year-old has still maintained a presence in the sport working on stage in pre-race shows and via social media on both YouTube and X. His followers enjoy his takes because he doesn’t sugarcoat what he thinks when sharing his opinion on a variety of topics in the sport.

Lately, he’s been talking about fans who regularly complain about the Gen 7 car.

On Wednesday, Wallace didn’t mince words and sent a strong message to those critical fans.

“You could have a great race — and I see a lot of you doing it — have a great race, Richard Petty says it was a great race, Jeff Gluck says it was a great race, and you guys are like, ‘Yeah, but there’s still something wrong with the car,’” Wallace said. “It’s like, for [expletive] sake, people. I mean, it’s like you’re trying to constantly talk about how negative the car is.

“That’s fine. Yeah, but every [expletive] week. Have three good races in a row and three races in a row and you’re going, ‘Yeah, but the car’s still no good.’ This cliche is what I think works in this situation — get a [expletive] life.”
