Corey Heim took the lead from teammate Tyler Reddick with three laps to go to claim his first NASCAR Cup win in the NASCAR San Diego race at Naval base Coronado on June 21.
Heim, 23, is racing a part-time Cup schedule for 23XI Racing, co-owned by NBA great Michael Jordan and Cup driver Denny Hamlin, in 2026. He will move to full-time in 2027.

It was Heim’s 13th career Cup start since 2024 and sixth in 2026. His previous best finish was sixth at Bristol in the fall of 2025.
Another 23XI Racing driver, Bubba Wallace, finished second, and Kyle Larson, who led 11 laps late, was third, Zane Smith was fourth, and AJ Allmendinger was fifth in the Anduril 250 at the Naval Base in Coronado.
After being passed by Heim, Reddick had a flat tire and finished 25th.
