Former undisputed world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson lost via unanimous decision to social media star and professional boxer Jake Paul on Friday, but the 58-year-old wants more action.

After the match, Tyson openly wondered whether he could face Paul’s older brother, Logan Paul, during his post-match interview with combat sports journalist Ariel Helwani.

Logan Paul, who was beside Jake Paul in the ring at the time, then said: “Motherf–ker, I’d kill you Mike.” Tyson smiled in response, and there was no more drama after the remark.

Logan Paul doesn’t have nearly as much boxing experience as his brother, who’s now 11-1 lifetime with seven knockouts. He did face Floyd Mayweather Jr. in an eight-round exhibition and does have two professional bouts under his belt, losing to social media star KSI in 2019 before beating former MMA fighter Dillon Danis by DQ in 2023.

He’s best known, though, for being a WWE Superstar, notably winning the United States Championship in 2023. Paul’s been quite impressive in the ring thanks to his risk-taking and high-flying theatrics.

The guess here, though, is that he won’t be facing Tyson, who could have very well been making an off-hand comment with Paul in his vision.

At any rate, the 58-year-old Tyson couldn’t muster much offense in the ring against Jake Paul in a match that was difficult to watch.

He certainly deserves his respect as the former undefeated heavyweight champion. Tyson was the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world at one time and perhaps the most feared athlete on the planet.

However, his boxing days are long over, and it’s very possible Friday is the last time we ever see him professionally.
