The UFC will put on one of the biggest shows in company history when an octagon will be put on the White House lawn as UFC Freedom 250 celebrates America’s 250th birthday.
Taking place on June 14, President Donald Trump’s birthday, the event will feature a lightweight title fight along with an interim heavyweight title fight.

Some of MMA’s biggest stars will appear on the card, like Ilia Topuria, Alex Pereira, and Derrick Lewis. Meanwhile, some exciting Americans, like Lewis, Sean O’Malley, Bo Nickal, and Michael Chandler, look for glory in Washington, D.C.
As expected, the UFC will roll out their reliable broadcasting crew to provide commentary and analysis on the fights taking place at UFC Freedom 250.
Here’s what to know about the full CBS/Paramount+ broadcast crew for UFC Freedom 250.
UFC Freedom 250 announcers
Play-by-play: Jon Anik
Leading a three-person commentary crew will be Jon Anik, the longtime UFC commentator.
Anik began his broadcasting career with ESPN, then began doing play-by-play for UFC in 2012. He’s been re-signed by UFC multiple times since then as one of the premiere voices of the organization.
Analyst: Joe Rogan
Famous comedian and podcaster Joe Rogan will be the middle man on the broadcast.
Known for having a cult following thanks to “The Joe Rogan Experience”podcast, Rogan starred in “Hardball” and “NewsRadio.” While “Fear Factor” is what introduced him to many, he joined the UFC in 1997 and has become one of the most iconic voices of the UFC.

Of note: Rogan has previously been critical of the UFC Freedom 250 event, specifically the event being outside.
Analyst: Daniel Cormier
UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier will be the third man in the booth.
A multi-time wrestling champion, Cormier is a former UFC light heavyweight and heavyweight champion. Known for his feud with Jon Jones, Cormier, who has also competed for Strikeforce, retired with a 22-3 record (one no-contest).
Cormier made his first appearance on the UFC commentary team in 2016 and has been a regular member of the crew since 2020.
Ring announcer: Bruce Buffer
Longtime UFC employee Bruce Buffer will handle ring announcer duties for UFC Freedom 250.
The half-brother of boxing legend Michael Buffer, Bruce has been with the UFC since 1996. Buffer’s “It’s Time!” catchphrase is as legendary as Michael’s “Let’s Get Ready to Rumble!”
Reporter: Megan Olivi
Handling backstage interviews and sideline reporting during the broadcast will be Megan Olivi.
Olivi is married to former UFC flyweight title contender Joseph Benavidez. Outside of working with the UFC, she has worked as a sideline reporter for the NFL.
Desk analyst: Brendan Fitzgerald
Leading a four-man analyst desk is veteran play-by-play announcer Brendan Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald has produced commentary for select UFC broadcasts and is a regular at the analyst booth.

Desk analyst: Michael Bisping
Joining Fitzgerald is Hall of Famer Michael Bisping.
Winner of The Ultimate Fighter 3 light heavyweight tournament, Bisping won the UFC middleweight title at UFC 199 after beating Luke Rockhold, becoming the first British UFC champion.
Bisping retired in 2017, and he made his commentary debut shortly after.
Desk analyst: Chris Weidman
Chris Weidman will also act as a desk analyst.
A former wrestling champion, Weidman is known for taking out Anderson Silva in 2013 to become the UFC middleweight champion. Weidman retired in 2024 after a 16-8 record. He will be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2026.
Desk analyst: Dominick Cruz
The other analyst for UFC Freedom 250 will be Dominick Cruz.
Known for his unorthodox movement, Cruz is a former WEC and UFC bantamweight champion. He’s also known for his resilience after recovering from various injuries in a career where he went 24-4. Like Weidman, he will also be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2026.
