  • Date: Saturday, September 19
  • Time: 9 p.m. ET (7 p.m. ET for prelims) | 6 p.m. PT
  • Location: Crypto.com Arena – Los Angeles

UFC 331 is in Los Angeles on September 19. The early prelims start at 5 p.m. ET, while the prelims are at 7 p.m. ET. The main card starts at 9 p.m. ET. The main event should start around 11:30 p.m. ET, depending on how long the undercard fights last.

Van (17-2) won four fights in 2025. He beat Pantoja for the flyweight title after Pantoja injured himself seconds into the fight. The 24-year-old proved he’s worthy of holding gold after successfully defending it against Tatsuro Taira.

Facing off against the former champion, Van aims to leave no doubt he is the true flyweight king.

“He’s (Pantoja) trying to be this guy where he’s the good guy, right?” Van said via MMA Sucka. “Trying to make me the bad guy. I don’t mind it… It’s funny to me. We’re going to fight Saturday and find out who’s the better man.”

Pantoja (30-6) defended the belt four times before the injury that ended his reign and his eight-fight win streak. He aims to return to the top of the division where he believes he belongs.

“I have a champion to fight, I don’t have a challenger. Joshua Van is the champion and I have nothing to lose in this fight. I have had this position before. I’m not going to be afraid of excuses, I go to conquer,” Pantoja said via CBS Sports.
