For the first time in four years, Scottie Scheffler won’t make it to the weekend at a PGA Tour event. Scheffler will fail to make the cut at the Scottish Open Friday, ending one of the longest streaks in PGA Tour history.

Scheffler got off to an OK start at the event Thursday, shooting two-under in the first round. But at 2-over performance Friday thanks to four bogeys moved him back to even par for the tournament.

That performance isn’t going to be good enough to get Scheffler to the weekend. The top-65 players (and ties) make the cut at the Scottish Open. After his performance Friday, Scheffler is well outside the top 65.

The cut line for the event is expected to be two-under.
