On Gian Piero Gasperini’s orders, Roma is working to renew the contracts of its expiring players.
Currently, the extensions for Zeki Celik and Lorenzo Pellegrini are stalled. Paulo Dybala’s, however, is in the final stages.

As reported by Matteo Moretto, the agreement between the club and his entourage regarding the “Joya”‘s continued existence is practically complete.
Negotiations are at a very advanced stage and agreements have almost been reached. The bureaucratic details for the signing are still missing, but the deal is considered closed.
Dybala’s contract renewal was in the balance not so much because of his on-field qualities, but rather because of his fragility, which often led him to miss key moments of the season.
This season, the Argentine, who was not called up by Lionel Scaloni for the World Cup, has made just 27 appearances and played 1,593 minutes in total.
Having a player with a top-tier salary but such physical shortcomings on the roster was certainly unsustainable for Roma, but the renewal is expected to come at a significantly lower price.
