Real Madrid have had a very good summer transfer window so far but could still look to do some business this final week.
Los Blancos, however, know that any potential signings for the first team are directly dependent on some players leaving.

One player whose future has generated some speculation throughout the summer is Eduardo Camavinga, with Manchester United the latest to be linked with him.
However, according to Fabrizio Romano, speaking to DAZN Espana, Camavinga has no intention of leaving Madrid this summer.
Camavinga backing himself under Mourinho

The 23-year-old is facing increased competition for the midfield spots, with Federico Valverde, Bernardo Silva and Aurelien Tchouameni all ahead of him.

However, Romano makes it clear that Camavinga is not looking for an exit. More importantly, there are no negotiations taking place with any other club over a transfer.
This is significant considering Chelsea and Manchester United were said to be interested in the France international, but there does not seem to be much truth to it.
Competition remains intense
Staying does not guarantee Camavinga a straightforward route into Mourinho’s starting XI.
Real Madrid have considerable depth in that position and, more importantly, Jose has different profiles at his disposal.

However, one thing that could work in Camavinga’s favour is his versatility. His ability to operate in multiple midfield roles and even at left-back could make him useful.
This could give Mourinho more tactical flexibility, particularly across a long season in which injuries, rotation and different opponents will require changes.
At 23, Camavinga is still young with a lot of upside. He has already shown his quality, but his development has stalled in the last couple of seasons.
Missing out on a World Cup spot would have been a cruel blow for the Frenchman, but it is just the kind of slap on the wrist that could wake him up.
It remains to be seen how Camavinga gets on under Jose Mourinho, and whether he can get back to his best level this campaign.
