Faldo has made no secret of the fact that he doesn’t agree with LIV Golf, and everything that it represents.

The six-time major champion criticized many of the big-name stars who jumped ship from the PGA Tour in order to join LIV Golf.
Brooks Koepka was one of those players, but he has since left LIV Golf in order to return to the PGA Tour.

Since Koepka’s return to the PGA Tour, there have been rumors that many others could join the five-time major winner.
Nick Faldo believes that the PGA Tour has something that LIV Golf simply cannot offer.
And the 69-year-old believes that Koepka has proven that already.

Faldo sat down for an exclusive interview with Today’s Golfer and spoke in depth about LIV Golf’s current situation.

The six-time major champion used Koepka’s move back to the PGA Tour as an example of how important genuine jeopardy is during golf tournaments.
“He comes back to the PGA Tour and goes, ‘Wow, I’ve got to dig it out the dirt,’“ Faldo said.
“And he’s really enjoying digging it out there. That’s the pressure of failure. It’s amazing.

“It could be the world number one, 14 shots back, and they fist pump because they’ve just holed a putt to make the cut.“
Koepka hasn’t won since returning to the PGA Tour, but he is clearly enjoying the weekly grind.

“I’ve kind of fallen back in love with this,“ Koepka said back in May.
“I’m enjoying the grind. I’m enjoying battling it out here. Yeah, it’s just a newfound love, a newfound passion for the game, and something that I’m really, really enjoying being back on the road and grinding it out and trying to find it in the dirt.“
Making the cut is ‘one of the toughest things to do in golf’
Sir Nick Faldo suggested that making the cut in any professional tournament is one of the most difficult things to do.
“That’s one of the toughest things to do in golf,“ the Englishman exclaimed.

“You’re one outside the cutline with six to play and you’re desperate to make the weekend.
“That is real pressure on a Friday, because you’ve got to dig deep and work out how to shoot a couple under when you’re not playing great but you’re desperate to make it happen.
“You’re not going to go, ‘I couldn’t care less.’ Nobody says that. Not even the world number one. It’s important to make the cut.”
There is definitely some truth to that. Professional golfers pride themselves on making cuts.
Watching players scrap it out to make the cut on a Friday is some of the most enthralling viewing there is for golf fans.
And the fact that there are no cuts on LIV Golf is one of their biggest downfalls when it comes to selling their product.
