The NASCAR Cup Series heads to New Hampshire Motor Speedway this weekend with only two races remaining before the Chase begins, and oddsmakers have put the defending race winner at the top of the board.
Ryan Blaney enters Sunday’s Dollar Tree 301 as the betting favorite at +450, according to DraftKings Sportsbook odds published by FOX Sports on Aug. 19. Christopher Bell is close behind at +550, while Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin share the next-shortest odds at +600.

Why Ryan Blaney Is the New Hampshire Favorite
Blaney has the shortest odds for an obvious reason: He is returning to New Hampshire as the defending race winner.
The Team Penske driver led 116 of 301 laps on his way to Victory Lane at the 1.058-mile track last season. That performance alone is enough to make him one of the drivers to beat Sunday.
There is an interesting wrinkle in Blaney’s New Hampshire résumé, however. His victory last season was his only finish better than 18th at the track during the Next Gen era.
That makes the gap between Blaney and Christopher Bell particularly noteworthy.

Bell has arguably the strongest recent New Hampshire résumé among the leading contenders. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver won at the track in 2022 and again in 2024, giving him two victories in the first four Next Gen races at New Hampshire.
At +550, oddsmakers have essentially made this a two-driver race at the very top of the board before the weekend even begins.
Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin Are Right Behind the Favorites
There is not much separation among the first four names.
Logano and Hamlin both enter the weekend at +600, and each brings a history of success at New Hampshire.
Hamlin is a two-time Cup Series winner at the track, although his most recent victory came in 2017. He has also recorded two top-10 finishes in four New Hampshire races during the Next Gen era.

Logano, meanwhile, arrives with momentum.
The three-time Cup Series champion won at Richmond last Saturday, giving him his second victory of the 2026 season and his second win in the past four races. He also owns multiple New Hampshire victories.
That combination of recent form and past success at the track puts Logano firmly in the group of drivers capable of challenging Blaney and Bell.
Josh Berry Headlines the New Hampshire Sleepers
Anyone looking beyond the shortest odds will find one especially interesting name at +1600.
Josh Berry nearly pulled off the upset at New Hampshire last season.
Berry led six laps and ultimately finished second to Blaney, giving him one of the strongest recent performances at the track among drivers outside this week’s group of favorites. He also finished third at New Hampshire in 2024.

That makes his +1600 number stand out considerably farther down the board.
Tyler Reddick is another notable name at +1800, while Chase Elliott sits at +2200. Austin Cindric is available at +3000 despite entering New Hampshire after a third-place finish at Richmond.
Brad Keselowski Offers an Intriguing Deep Longshot
The odds become considerably longer once the board moves beyond the primary contenders, but one former New Hampshire winner stands out.
Brad Keselowski enters at +6500.
Keselowski has won twice at New Hampshire, most recently in 2020. His last two trips to the track resulted in finishes of 25th or worse, but he finished seventh in 2022 and fifth in 2023.

Chris Buescher is another RFK Racing driver sitting well down the board at +6000, while Shane van Gisbergen joins Keselowski at +6500.
New Hampshire’s flat, relatively short layout creates a much different challenge than many tracks on the Cup Series schedule. With Chase spots becoming increasingly valuable and only one regular-season race remaining after Sunday, the pressure will only increase.
Blaney may enter the weekend as the favorite, but the odds board leaves no shortage of alternatives.
