The race to the NASCAR Chase begins on Aug. 9 at Iowa.

The NASCAR Cup Series returns after a week off for the Iowa Corn 350 at Iowa Speedway, the first of four August races to end the regular season.

Ryan Blaney is on the pole at a track that he drove to victory in 2024.

Austin Cindric holds the final Chase spot coming into the race weekend by 38 points over Ryan Preece. Cindric starts 12th, while Preece begins from 35th.
