The NASCAR O’Reilly Series competed at Texas Motor Speedway and put on a show. Justin Allgaier won Stage 1 while Connor Zilisch won Stage 2; however, neither driver was able to enter victory lane. Instead, it was a different JR Motorsports driver who claimed the NASCAR victory at Texas on Saturday.

Kyle Larson and the No. 88 team for JR Motorsports won the Andy’s Frozen Custard 340 at Texas, earning their second victory of the 2026 O’Reilly Series season. Larson had the race in control during the Final Stage, but a late caution put him at risk of losing. However, the driver of the No. 88 car held off a hard-charging Allgaier.

It has been a difficult year for Larson in the NASCAR Cup Series, so winning in the O’Reilly Series is a much-needed reminder that he can still win in the sport. Larson hopes that he can finally find some momentum in NASCAR soon, as the sport nears the halfway point of the 2026 regular season.
