Jordan Spieth Makes Revelation on Wife Annie Verret After Third Baby originally appeared on Athlon Sports.

Golfing hasn’t been up to the mark for Jordan Spieth this month, but fortunately, not for any concerning reason. It’s quite the opposite. He has just been very busy helping out his wife, Annie Verret, after baby Sully joined the family.

“I have less time at the course than I used to, but that’s my choice, right? Everything at home is taken care of,” he revealed during a press conference on Wednesday.

“My wife’s a rock star. And I’m not — obviously a newborn’s a newborn, but she’s doing most all of the heavy lifting.” he added.

The golfer withdrew from the Travelers Championship, citing a wrist injury, and since then has struggled to find his form at the course. He finished tied for 40th at The Open Championship in July.

“Obviously, it’s not like I’ve been sitting at home hurt or bored. I guess I was for a week of that, but obviously with a newborn there’s plenty going on.” Spieth continued.

“So being out here is kind of like, it’s a weird feeling because my other two were born in the fall, so I haven’t had this situation before. Yeah, it’s like when you’re playing well, you want to be playing.” he added.

Spieth teed off on Thursday at the Wyndham Championship and finished with a score of 5-under 65. Despite the golf struggles, he expressed that life for him has been awesome.

“It’s been awesome, I haven’t felt restricted by any means. It’s just trying to, trying to be the best golfer in the world while still being super involved at home means those are my two priorities.” he said.
