Paula Francisco and Niall Sheils Donegan created some necessary separation for the International squad on Day 2 at the 2026 Arnold Palmer Cup on Saturday afternoon.

The stalemated international contest at Tralee Golf Links in Ireland was heading for another possible tie until Francisco’s late putt helped secure her and Donegan’s mixed foursomes match over Americans Avery Weed and William Jennings.

The rising senior at University of Florida put the International side up 18.5 to 17.5 over the U.S. heading into the final day of singles competition. 30.5 points are needed to win the Cup.

On the American side, Wheaton Ennis and Farah O’Keefe and Anna Davis and Cayden Pope earned points in their respective mixed foursome contests to keep things even up until the moment of Francisco’s putt.

The International team had gotten its edge earlier in the day in foursome play where it went 6-5-1 over Team USA.

Final day play begins runs 5 to 9 a.m. ET on GolfChannel.com and the Golf Channel mobile app on Sunday, July 5.
