Inter Milan will reportedly sell at least one midfielder before the end of the current summer transfer window.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan currently have seven senior central midfielders in their squad.
There are Kristjan Asllani, Hakan Calhanoglu, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Piotr Zielinski, Nicolo Barella, and Davide Frattesi. Then, in addition, Inter have also signed Petar Sucic.
That is before considering players who can play in attacking midfield such as Valentin Carboni and Nicola Zalewski.
Report – Inter Milan Will Sell A Central Midfielder This Summer
Inter Milan simply do not require the midfield depth that they currently have.
Therefore, the Corriere dello Sport report, it is all but certain that at least one central player will certainly be on their way.
Moreover, Inter will also likely look to bring in a fee for whoever does depart.
The Nerazzurri are still thinking of doing more summer business. And any new signings that they bring in in addition to Petar Sucic, Luis Henrique, and Ange-Yoan Bonny will require a sale to fund them.
