Ex-Arsenal player and pundit Ian Wright was among thousands of fans celebrating the Gunners’ first Premier League title in 22 years, joining in the joyous scenes outside the Emirates on Tuesday night.

Manchester City’s failure to beat Bournemouth, instead drawing 1-1, meant Pep Guardiola’s side could mathematically no longer catch league leaders Arsenal and take the title race to the final day, with the gap at four points with one game to go.

The result sparked delirium at the Emirates and across north London, with fans flocking to the stadium to celebrate their first top-flight trophy since the 2004 ‘Invincibles’, setting off flares and fireworks.

Wright, Arsenal’s second-highest goal scorer of all time and a former Premier League winner with the side, was among their numbers, and was mobbed by fans singing his name outside the ground.
