How to unlock Kilo 141 for free in Warzone and Black Ops 6

The Kilo 141 is making a comeback along with Verdansk in Call of Duty: Warzone season three. The best part? You can unlock this fan-favorite assault rifle for free and use it in Black Ops 6 too.

This iconic AR dominated the meta in the original Warzone back in the pandemic era of 2020 thanks to its smooth handling, low recoil, and consistent fire rate that allowed players to use it for different combat scenarios. If you want to crush lobbies again with this gun, here’s how to get it in BO6 and Warzone.

How to unlock the Kilo 141 for free

Getting the Kilo 141 for in the upcoming Call of Duty season three is pretty easy. All you have to do is download or update Warzone and open the game menu on April 2 starting at 9am PT, which coincides with the launch of Black Ops 6 season three.

You won’t be able to use the gun immediately in Activision’s popular battle royal title, though, as the game will be unavailable to play for 24 hours in preparation for the return of Verdansk and launch of Warzone season three on April 3, 9am PT / 11am CT.

Instead, you can start using the Kilo 141 in BO6 season three (Multiplayer or Zombies), giving you a head start to level it up, unlock attachments, and earn camos before Warzone goes live again. Don’t worry if you haven’t purchased a premium copy of BO6, as Activision is offering a 24-hour free trial while Warzone is temporarily offline.

You may want to use double weapon XP tokens to quickly unlock attachments and test out different builds for the Kilo 141, and see how it stacks up against the current powerhouse ARs like the Krig C and AS VAL.

In addition to the Kilo 141, CoD brings back other fan-favorite weapons for season three, including the CR-56 AMAX assault rifle, HDR sniper rifle, and Kali Sticks melee. The Thermite is also coming back, along with equipment and field upgrades that have been adjusted to resemble the original loadouts from Verdansk.
