Here’s more on who will be calling the matches at the 2025 French Open.

French Open announcers 2025

TNT enlisted a host of luminaries to lead its coverage for the 2025 French Open. The 30-man crew features 99 Grand Slam winners, 22 of which came at Roland-Garros. Here’s a look at some of the more notable contributors.

Andre Agassi

Agassi headlines an eclectic bunch of tennis icons taking part in TNT’s studio program. He’ll take to TNT Sports’ roving studio to fire off his hottest tennis takes, sharing the air with Adam Lefkoe as well as Coco Vandeweghe, Sloane Stephens, Chris Eubanks, and John McEnroe.

Agassi’s time in the spotlight is well-documented, so, to make a long story short: Agassi has a career Golden Slam under his belt, having captured eight major titles. He’s one of only two men’s players to accomplish such a feat; the other is Novak Djokovic.

Brian Anderson

Anderson returns to the broadcast booth in Paris, serving up play-by-play call alongside a host of tennis titans.

Anderson is a veteran broadcaster, serenading professional sports contests with his dulcet vocals since the 1990s. In addition to tennis, Anderson also calls baseball, basketball, and golf events. He recently inked a multi-year extension to remain at TNT Sports.

Alex Faust

Faust is a highly touted voice in the broadcasting industry, showcasing his talent while handling play-by-play responsibilities on dirt, ice, and clay.

Former Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek tipped Faust for greatness back in 2018, suggesting he would make a worthwhile replacement when he stepped away from hosting responsibilities.

Prior to his time with TNT Sports, Faust worked as the Los Angeles Kings’ lead play-by-play voice from 2017-23.

Mark Petchey

Before Petchey found his way into the gantry, he was a professional tennis player. The London native enjoyed modest success as a pro, climbing up to 80th in the ATP rankings at his pomp. He qualified for multiple Grand Slams and made it to the third round at Wimbledon in 1997.

Petchey coached Silvija Talaja, Tina Pisnik, and Andy Murray before diving headfirst into broadcasting. He’s been a fixture on television in the years since, offering analysis for Amazon Prime, ITV, the BBC, the Tennis Channel, and more.

Patrick McEnroe

Rounding out the play-by-play crew for this year’s tournament is former pro Patrick McEnroe. The youngest brother of seven-time Grand Slam champion John, Patrick McEnroe reached as high as No. 28 in the ATP singles rankings. He reached his zenith in 1989, picking up a doubles title at the French Open.

McEnroe has worn a lot of hats since retiring from the professional tour in 1998. He’s served as a general manager of USTA player development and Davis Cup captain. In May 2023, McEnroe became the president of the International Tennis Hall of Fame.

John McEnroe

Older brother John joins Patrick McEnroe in crooning about the latest Grand Slam competition at Roland-Garros. John McEnroe is one of the most decorated men’s players in tennis history, picking up seven majors in singles and another nine majors in doubles. A hothead who tended to let off fiery rants rather than concede fault in a given situation, John McEnroe has transitioned seamlessly to life on the small screen. He’ll offer musings and occasional analysis from Roland-Garros.

Lindsay Davenport

At her pinnacle, Davenport was the world’s best player, a wondrous blend of speed, power, and precision. A former World No. 1, Davenport claimed three majors — at the 1998 US Open, 1999 Wimbledon Championships, and 2000 Australia Open. She also scooped up a gold medal at the 1996 Olympics and a victory at the 1999 Tour Finals.

Jim Courier

Much like the McEnroes and Davenport, Courier brings some serious experience, both on the court and in the broadcast booth. A former World No. 1, Courier captured a pair of Australian and French Opens. He’s worked in broadcasting since 2005, waxing lyrical about the sport both as a commentator and host broadcaster. In addition to TNT Sports, you can also find him on the Tennis Channel, as well as Prime Video Sport.

Chris Evert

Evert is a regular on the broadcasting circuit, having let her vocals cascade across Grand Slams galore since her retirement. Evert tends to serve in an analyst role when she’s in the booth, and the 18-time major champion will always have plenty to contribute.

Caroline Wozniacki

Wozniacki brings serious pedigree to the broadcast booth. Not only has the Dane’s voice swirled across numerous tennis contests. But she’s a former World No. 1, too, claiming 30 WTA titles, including a win at the 2018 Australian Open.

Sam Querrey

Querrey should offer a unique perspective at Roland-Garros. The former World No. 11 was a gifted tennis player in his pomp, blessed with a fiery serve and an impressive baseline game. But as of late, he’s made his mark on the pickleball court — he’s a member of the PPA Tour.

Darren Cahill

Cahill is a former player and acclaimed tennis coach who led Agassi, Murray, Lleyton Hewitt, Ana Ivenovic, and Simona Halep to success, among others. He’s still involved in the coaching game, as his pupil, Jannick Sinner, took home three Grand Slams under his tutelage: the 2024 and 2025 Australian Opens and the 2024 US Open.
