While much of Barcelona was still recovering from a long night of celebrations after winning LaLiga, activity behind the scenes at the club was already underway from early in the morning.
As SPORT reports, Deco met with Pini Zahavi, the agent of Robert Lewandowski and Hansi Flick, in a key meeting regarding the Polish striker’s future.

Lewandowski’s future
The meeting covered several topics, but the main focus was Lewandowski. The 37-year-old striker is still seriously reflecting on what to do next season and, at this point, has not made a final decision. The reality is that he is weighing up all his options and has real doubts.
Yesterday, as a small anecdote, a group of fans stopped the Polish forward as he left the Spotify Camp Nou to ask whether he would stay in Barcelona. His response was a brief “I don’t think so,” accompanied by a negative shake of the head.
The doubts, therefore, are clear. What is not in doubt is that Lewandowski can hardly be criticised for his performances.

Since arriving, he has delivered goals and maintained an exemplary attitude, even in difficult moments, becoming a key figure in helping Barcelona move on from a particularly challenging period.
Decision up to Lewandowski
Up to now, Barcelona had not presented any written renewal offer or discussed concrete figures with the player’s camp. That situation has made it harder for Lewandowski to make a decision, especially because other offers have arrived with clear financial terms.
Both Saudi Arabia and MLS, specifically Chicago Fire, have submitted very strong and well-defined proposals.
The striker believes he is at a crucial stage of his career. Set to become 38 soon, he knows this could be the last major contract of his professional life. For that reason, he wants to take his time, discuss it calmly with his family, and only then make a final decision.

Those close to him, both privately and within the dressing room, have never hidden the fact that the offers he has received are making him seriously consider his next step.
Indeed, Lewandowski himself hinted yesterday, after the match and during the celebrations, that he does not rule out finishing his career in a less competitive league. At this stage, no decision has been made or finalised, but do not deny that the player has significant doubts.
