Garrett Wilson made one of the most spectacular catches in recent memory to help the New York Jets beat the Houston Texans on Thursday.

After the outstanding catch, Davante Adams joked that Wilson could get dropped from his Adidas sponsorship due to his resemblance to the Jordan logo.

“I told him he might get kicked from Adidas after that one,” Adams said. “That one looked like he headed over to Jumpman with me. We’re gonna see, I’m gonna talk to some people about that one. I ain’t gonna say they gonna replace the logo, I know (Michael Jordan) might not like me saying that. But that was a hard catch.”

As Adams alluded to, Wilson looked just like the iconic silhouette of Michael Jordan as he brought in the absurd touchdown catch.

Wilson likely won’t part ways with Adidas anytime soon as he inked a multi-year deal with the shoe company before he was drafted in 2022, but he could get some calls from Jordan when it’s time to sign a new contract.

Wilson’s unbelievable one-handed touchdown grab came in the fourth quarter of Thursday night’s matchup and gave the Jets a 14-10 lead.

What’s even more absurd about the highlight is that it wasn’t even his first one-handed touchdown catch of the game. In the third quarter, he hauled in a pass from Aaron Rodgers with one hand before trotting into the endzone to give New York its first score of the game.

Wilson finished the game with nine receptions for 90 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The third-year receiver is up to 663 receiving yards and five touchdowns on 60 receptions so far this season.

His new teammate Adams had his best game in a Jets uniform, bringing in seven receptions for 91 yards and a fourth-quarter touchdown that helped seal the game.

The win snapped a five-game losing streak for New York and its now looking to build off of the momentum and continue fighting for a playoff berth.
