New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson made an incredible one-handed catch in the fourth quarter of the team’s clash with the Houston Texans on Thursday Night Football.

On third down with 19 yards to gain at Houston’s 26-yard line, Aaron Rodgers tossed a pass into the end zone for Wilson before the 24-year-old reached up and hauled in the ball with one hand.

It was initially ruled an incomplete pass, but the call was later reversed after Wilson’s shin came down inside the end zone before falling out of bounds.

Fans were amazed by the play.

That’s one of the all-time grabs.

With the catch, the Jets were able to take a four-point lead instead of settling for a potential game-tying field goal. New York entered the contest looking to end a five-game losing streak.

Despite the team’s struggles as of late, Wilson has continued to improve following a slow start to the season.

The former Offensive Rookie of the Year recorded just 20 catches for 191 yards and a touchdown through his first four games. In his next four appearances, Wilson racked up 31 receptions for 382 yards and two scores.

He remained effective against a Texans secondary that owned the NFL’s third-best pass defense entering Thursday’s action. With two touchdown grabs, Wilson amassed seven catches for 76 yards.

His one-handed score was also crucial for a Jets offense that was briefly missing Davante Adams, as the star receiver left the game in the second half and wasn’t on the field during the improbable play. He was able to clear concussion protocol and catch a 37-yard touchdown before the contest ended, though.

While several members of the Jets have fallen short of expectations during their 2-6 start to the season, Wilson showed why he’s one of the bright spots in the organization on Thursday night.
