Coco Gauff has two grand slam championships, one in the 2023 U.S. Open and another in the 2025 French Open. Those also happen to be the only two times in which Gauff was a finalist in a major tournament.

2023 U.S. Open

Gauff won her first major at 19 years old, while ranked No. 6 in the world, when she upset No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka in the 2023 U.S. Open. Goff lost the first set to Sabalenka but came back to win the final two, completing her first major title with a 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 win.

Osaka has major titles that all came over the course of a four-year stretch. However, she has won only two unique grand slam tournaments twice. Osaka has won two U.S. Open tournaments (2018 and 2020) and two Australian Open tournaments (2019 and 2021).

2018 U.S. Open

Osaka’s first grand slam win came in impressive fashion, as she beat Serena Williams in the 2018 U.S. Open 6-2, 6-4. Osaka entered the tournament having never gone past the fourth round in a major, but she cruised through the tournament for her first major title at just 20 years old.

2019 Australian Open

It didn’t take long for Osaka to win her second grand slam as she took home her first Australian Open title just months after her U.S. open victory. Osaka defeated Petra Kvitova 7-6 (7-2), 5-7, 6-4, which also completed her rise to the top of the women’s tennis game.

2020 U.S. Open

The 2020 season was a strange one due to COVID, but Osaka was still able to collect her third major victory at the U.S. Open. Osaka took on Victoria Azarenka in the final match, and despite losing the first set, she bounced back to win the match in three sets, 1-6, 6-3, 6-3.
