Cliftonville have completed the loan signing of Dungannon Swifts forward Brandon Bermingham.

The 23-year-old started his career at Drogheda United before moving to the United States on a four-year university scholarship.

He then joined the Swifts in January of this year and was part of the side that beat Cliftonville in the Irish Cup final in May.

Bermingham, who can play across the frontline, becomes the Reds’ eighth summer signing and will be part of the squad to face Crusaders in the County Antrim Shield on Tuesday.

The Swifts announced on Friday that they had signed former Glentoran and Galway United striker Junior.

The 31-year-old arrives at Stangmore Park as a free agent after a recent spell with Turkish club Karsiyaka Anamur.

The Glens have brought in MJ Kamson-Kamara on loan from League One side Lincoln City.

The 19-year-old defender made his senior debut for the Imps last season.

Meanwhile Larne have loaned out Josh Kee to Glenavon and fellow youngster Oisin Devlin to Bangor.
