We all could see this coming.

Last year, as a rookie, Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty showed prowess as a receiver out of the backfield as he had 55 catches and five touchdown catches. This offseason, new head coach Klint Kubiak stated that the goal was to get the No. 6 overall pick in last year’s draft very involved in the receiving game.

And it showed in the very first game. Jeanty had two receiving touchdown in a win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

It was his second game of his young career in which he had games game multiple receiving touchdowns. He is just the second play since the 1970 merger to accomplish the feat in his first 20 games of his career according to the Raiders’ PR department.

We can see Jeanty add many more receiving milestones this season.
