“We didn’t expect to win the league that easily, but it’s something nice because I think we deserved it. Some people said ‘oh, because of the points, you’ve done less points than Arsenal last season,’ but I think we fully deserved it and that’s why we are really happy and enjoying the last weeks already being champions.”
The midfielder’s response clearly highlighted Liverpool’s consistency and teamwork rather than mere good fortune.
Alexis Mac Allister’s key role at Liverpool
Since joining from Brighton in 2023, Mac Allister has evolved into a central figure at Anfield, showcasing his quality consistently across two seasons. “Without my teammates this wouldn’t be possible,” he added. “This is a team sport and I’m not a player that will dribble past five players and score a goal, I’m not that type of player. I need my teammates and they really help me a lot. That’s why I’m really happy at this club because I’ve got great teammates, great people.”
