The biennial competition between 10 of the best amateurs from the United States against their counterparts from Great Britain & Ireland kicks off Saturday morning at Lahinch in Ireland. There will be a Foursomes session in the morning before afternoon Singles matches take place.

Walker Cup 2026 Saturday Foursomes pairings, tee times
All times ET, USA listed firstwith GB&I second
3:30 a.m.: Preston Stout and Ethan Fang vs. Stuart Grehan and Eliot Baker
3:40 a.m.: Jay Leng Jr. and Kihei Akina vs. Connor Graham and Tyler Weaver
3:50 a.m.: Miles Russell and Tyler Watts vs. Luke Poulter and Sam Easterbrook
4 a.m.: Josiah Gilbert and Ryder Cowan vs. Niall Sheils Donegan and Josh Hill
Each of the two competition days features foursomes (alternate-shot) matches in the morning followed by singles matches in the afternoon. On Saturday, there are eight singles matches, while all 10 players from each side compete in singles on Sunday. One full point is awarded for each victory, while a half-point is earned for matches that are all square after 18 holes. The USA needs 13 points to retain the Cup, while GB&I requires 13.5 points to reclaim it.
