The penultimate tournament of the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup Playoffs concludes Sunday at Bellerive Country Club, with the final round of the BMW Championship. The results will finalize the 30 players who will contend for the Tour Championship next week in Atlanta.
That essentially means there are two tournaments in one Sunday, as players jockey for position. The main course is the BMW Championship itself, where Wyndham Clark holds a commanding five-shot lead through 54 holes over Rory McIlroy and Patrick Cantlay, as he seeks his third win of the year.

The other side is the race for the top 30 and a berth at East Lake, which involves Cantlay, who entered the week 43rd in the FedEx Cup standings. His play so far has him projected to move to 22nd and safely into the Tour Championship field for the ninth time in the last 10 years. But, he’ll have to keep it going.
Also in the mix for both competitions is Gary Woodland, who has moved from 31st at the start of the week to projected 19th as he’s tied for fourth.
Of course, in addition to the status and playoff possibilities, there is also a sizable purse up for grabs.
The BMW Championship purse is $20 million, with $3.6 million going to the champion. You can check out the entire payout breakdown below.
