Welcome back to another edition of our weekly review of the best goalscoring moments from the latest matchday in MLS.
As Decision Day draws near, taking a bit of a reprieve from the pending drama set to unfold mere days from now by way of some of the best hits over the weekend could never hurt anyone, even if you arenāt a fan of Lionel Messi or Inter Miami.
5. Jordi Alba vs Atlanta
And speaking of the Herons, we begin in the five spot with a strikerās finish from veteran full-back Jordi Alba, who dispatched a cheeky chipped effort over AtlantaāsĀ Jayden Hibbert on a night where the iconic defender said his goodbyes ahead of his retirement from the beautiful game.

Thereās only one further accomplishment left for the 36-year-old, with Inter Miami ramping up for a push toward lifting a first-ever MLS Cup.
4.Ā Dagur Ćórhallsson vs Vancouver
Up next, it would not be a top-five list without an entry rooted in collectivism, with Orlandoās palette-pleasing opening strike setting their night off on the right foot.
Though the Lions would go on to lose late (and weāll come to that in a moment), Icelandic full-backĀ Dagur Ćórhallsson capped off a beautifully executed raid into the Whitecapsā defensive third from close range.
3. Lionel Messi vs Atlanta
Heading back to South Florida, Lionel Messi slots in at number three this week with a typical moment of class from the diminutive Argentine legend.

A delightful ball over the top and into space from the aforementioned Alba would then see Messi steady himself before finishing low into the far corner to complete his brace and take a commanding lead in the Golden Boot race going into Decision Day.
2. Thomas Müller vs Orlando
A legend in Germany and across the European continent, Thomas Müllerās unquestionable gifts have been yet another breath of fresh, veteran air to MLS since he arrived in Vancouver.
Already boasting big moments since coming under the command of Thomas SĆørensen, the Bavarian came up big once again, striking very late on against Orlando to seal a comeback win for the Whitecaps while claiming another big moment across what has been a glistening career.
1. Luis SuƔrez vs Atlanta
We finish this weekās list where we began, with another true icon of the modern footballing era, Luis SuĆ”rez.

With time ticking on his own fantastic career at the highest level, the Uruguayan still has a big moment or two left in him yet, and it was certainly fitting to see him roll the clock back to hit this long-range volley into the top corner with a goal reminiscent of his heady days at Ajax, Liverpool, and Barcelona.
Oh yeah, and it was only just the 600th goal of his career across all competitions.
