The New York Yankees are recalling Anthony Volpe from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, according to multiple reports Tuesday. The Yankees are bringing the 25-year-old Volpe — who started at least 147 games at shortstop each of the past three seasons — back up to the majors and, per ESPN’s Jorge Castillo, placing José Caballero on the injured list with a finger injury.
