Si Woo Kim’s chase for 58 captured the attention of everyone at TPC Craig Ranch Friday.

When he went into the clubhouse with a five-shot lead after 36 holes, most probably thought they were witnessing a runaway train.

That is proving to be short-sighted on Moving Day as Kim’s lead is down to just two strokes as of 3:30 p.m. ET. Wyndham Clark has applied considerable pressure with a first-nine that included a stretch of three consecutive birdies and an eagle putt on the par-5 9th hole.

Clark’s 31 pushed him to 18 under on the tournament, and at the time just a shot off Kim. The moment came about an hour after he fought off a bloody nose at No. 5 before sinking a crucial birdie putt.

Kim, who is also playing his first-nine on the course’s front nine, found success at No. 9. He bogeyed the previous hole but rebounded with his third Moving Day birdie to get his lead back to two on the ever-changing CJ Cup Byron Nelson leaderboard.
