Who won NASCAR Xfinity race at Homestead? Winner is Austin Hill, plus full results

The checkered flag has flown for the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Austin Hill won Saturday’s Credit One NASCAR AMEX Credit Card 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs race at Homestead. Hill will race for the series championship in two weeks at Phoenix Raceway for the first time in his NASCAR Xfinity Series career.

“As soon as I took the white flag, I had tears in my eyes,” Hill said to reporters in Victory Lane. “I’ve never been emotional after a race win, but with all the work that goes in … it’s special.”

Hill won the first two stages and decided to run long on the pit strategy, which was the right call. He ran 42 laps on the final run to get the win, his fourth of the season and 10th of his career.

Saturday’s race had 10 lead changes and just three cautions.
