For those taking on today’s LoLdle quote, you might find it to be tricky to solve. The League of Legends Wordle-like game has you taking a stab at a daily champion based on its voice line, with this one tripping many players up: “To shake, or not to shake.”
I don’t remember any Shakespeare references to League champs off the top of my head, but there’s bound to be one out there. If you’re still a little stumped, I’ve got a handful of hints for the LoLdle Quote of the Day for Sunday, Feb. 10, 2025.
Hints for today’s LoLdle quote
Hint 1: This champion is most commonly played in the top lane.
While you can play a champion in any lane, Riot Games designs most characters with a particular role in mind. The champion who says “To shake, or not to shake” is most often found running around top lane, although many of those who main this legend have been known to take them mid.
Hint 2: This champion has a major role in the Netflix series Arcane.
Several champions are from the hit show Arcane, but do any of them sound like they’d say today’s quote? Can you imagine Jinx or Vi saying it? Hopefully, the combination of the first and second clue help to narrow down your list of answers.
Hint 3: You do not want to chase this champion around the Rift.
If you’re a League veteran, this clue should be a dead giveaway. If you’re still new to the MOBA and have yet to learn this lesson the hard way—well, let’s just say it’s a bit of a rite of passage.
Still stuck? We’ve got the answer coming right up.
Which League champion says “To shake, or not to shake”?
Answer: “To shake, or not to shake” is a quote said by Singed, the Mad Chemist. It’s commonly heard whenever Singed is given a move command, so you will hear it most often in Summoner’s Rift matches if you pick him regularly.
Most League players don’t think too fondly of Singed. He doesn’t attack regularly, instead using his Poison Trail to damage enemies by leaving noxious gas on the ground behind him as he runs. Between Flinging enemies into the cloud, slowing them with his Mega Adhesive, and running fast thanks to his Noxious Slipstream passive, he’s a tough one to beat down once he gets ahead.
