Most Valuable Prospects 12 preview

Paul created Most Valuable Prospects, “a new boxing series created to highlight the next generation of the sport’s best male and female athletes, who all have world title aspirations.”

Pero (10-0) is a 2019 Pan American Games gold medalist. The 2020 Olympian is an MVP regular, competing at the last few events produced by Paul. “The Fear” has eight wins via knockout.

Navarro (13-2) is on a two-fight win streak and has eleven wins via knockout.

The co-main event will see Florida native Corey Marksman face Tayden Beltran. Marksman (10-0-1) beat Tony Aguilar in July after their initial contest was deemed a draw. He has seven wins via knockout. Beltran (10-0-1) looks to go 2-0 in 2025. “The Butcher” has five wins via the power punch.

Also on the card, Kaipo Gallegos (8-0-1), an 18x national champion, takes on Pedro Castaneda (8-0-1).

Meanwhile, Nat Dove competes against Nayeli Rodriguez. “No Love” Dove (5-0) is a 15-time amateur national champion who just signed with MVP. Also a former champion at the amateur level, Rodriguez (4-0) looks to go 3-0 in 2025. The women’s fight will be six rounds with three-minute rounds instead of two.

Other standouts on the card will be two-time amateur champion Alexander Gueche (7-0), 19-year-old Elise Soto (7-0), and Florida’s Jeremy Adorno (9-1).
