“He (Hrgovic) is lazy and bone idle. He should have been a lot better,” Allen told The Ring. “He said he can beat me at 70 percent. I said, ‘Alright, sound. Turn up at 70 percent then.’ I’m hoping he turns up and he’s not at the races. Anything that gives me a better chance, I want.”
A 2016 Olympic bronze medalist, Hrgovic (19-1) is one of the most feared fighters at heavyweight. “El Animal” got knocked out in an upset against Daniel Dubois, but has since recovered with wins against Joe Joyce and David Adeleye. He has 14 wins via knockout.
