The NASCAR Cup Series returns to the track after a week off for the Iowa Corn 350 on Aug. 9 at Iowa Speedway.
The in-season tournament is history, as is any summer malaise. The aim is now on the Chase with four regular-season races remaining.

Austin Cindric leads Ryan Preece by 38 points for the final Chase spot. Preece will start 35th.
Four drivers have clinched a Chase spot so far — Denny Hamlin, Tyler Reddick, Ryan Blaney and Ty Gibbs.
