The NASCAR Cup Series season begins on track with practice and heat races on Saturday ahead of the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium.

Practice times will set the heat race lineups, and the four 25-lap heat races will help set the 23-car field for the non-points paying Cook Out Clash on Sunday.

The 0.25-mile short track hosts NASCAR Cup Series racing for the first time since 1971.
