How is the Wednesday weather looking for Charlotte, North Carolina, host of the 2025 PGA Championship?

According to the forecast by Accuweather, Quail Hollow Club, host venue for the championship, will have “times of clouds and sun with a couple of showers and a thunderstorm; storms can bring flooding downpours and localized damaging wind gusts.”

Wednesday’s high temperature is expected to be 78 degrees and there is an 88 percent chance of precipitation and a 53 percent change of thunderstorms.

What is the weather forecast for the rest of the week at the PGA Championship?

Accuweather says for the first round on Thursday it should be partly sunny and humid with a high of 83.

Friday’s high is expected to be 88 with a chance for a thunderstorm in the afternoon during the second round.

Saturday is mainly clear but there could be some rainshowers here and there, as Accuweather says there’s a 40 percent chance of rain, and the high should be 87.

Sunday’s final round is going to be sunny and 81 degrees and there doesn’t appear to be any rain expected for the final 18 holes at Quail Hollow.

Has there ever been a Monday finish at the PGA Championship?

No one is predicting that for 2025, but history shows that there have only been three Monday finishes at the PGA and none since 2005 when Phil Mickelson won his second major.
