Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson is back in the Madden NFL 99 Club.

The Week 7 update bumped Jefferson’s overall score to a game-best 99 overall. The fifth-year wideout received word of the news from ex-Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver Chad Johnson prior to the Vikings’ road game against the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday.

Jefferson first joined the 99 Club when Madden NFL 24 dropped. He wasn’t on the initial 99 Club list when Madden NFL 25 was released, but he’s made his way back there, becoming the youngest two-time 99 Club member in the game’s history.

It’s a well-deserved honor for Jefferson, who averaged 98.3 receiving yards per game over his first four seasons. His best campaign was in 2022, when he led the league with 128 catches and 1,809 yards en route to Associated Press Offensive Player of the Year honors.

This season, Jefferson is fourth in the NFL with 88.5 receiving yards per game. He’s also posted 33 receptions for 531 yards and five touchdowns.

Five players are now in the Madden NFL 25 99 Club after the latest ratings update: Jefferson, Kansas City Chiefs teammates Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce and San Francisco 49ers teammates Christian McCaffrey and Trent Williams.

Miami Dolphins wideout Tyreek Hill began the year in the 99 Club, but he dropped one point to 98 this week.

Other notable changes include Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley moving up one to 94 after a dominant 187-yard outing in three quarters against his former team, the New York Giants.

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey also moved two points from 90 to 92. Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, who has helped lead his team to the NFC’s best record, shot up from 82 to 84.

On the flip side, DeAndre Hopkins moved down three points from 89 to 86. He’s played through a torn MCL all season, contributing to a tough year, but a trade from the Tennessee Titans to the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs could certainly boost his outlook moving forward.
