The Utah Hockey Club announced that they have sent forward Josh Doan to the AHL.
The move was expected as the NHL goes into their 4-Nations Face-Off break. Doan will now report to the Tucson Roadrunners and will likely be called back up after the NHL season resumes.
Doan, 23, has played in 25 games at both the NHL and AHL level this season. With Utah, he has four goals and five assists for nine points. While with the Roadrunners, he has scored eight goals and 13 assists for 21 points.
Utah is back in action on Feb. 22 against the Los Angeles Kings.
