Drafted by the Arizona Coyotes in the first round of the 2022 NHL Draft, Lamoureux turned pro this year after spending the past four seasons playing for the QMJHL’s Drummondville Voltigeurs. In 152 career regular season QMJHL games, Lamoureux scored 19 goals and added 64 assists for 83 points.

Standing at 6-foot-7, Lamoureux has the ability to make a difference at both ends of the ice thanks to his length and smarts. As Utah gets set to face the Avalanche Thursday, Lamoureux has a strong chance to draw into the lineup for his NHL debut.
