OOLTEWAH, Tenn. — Stroke play has concluded at the U.S. Women’s Amateur, which means the match play bracket is set.
The week started with 156 players competing at The Honors Course, and now the top 64 will battle it out for the Robert Cox Trophy come Thursday in match play. Japan’s Anna Iwanaga and 15-year-old Hailey Kim shared medalist honors at 6 under. Asterisk Talley, the runner-up in 2024 and co-medalist last year, finished third after stroke play, while Anna Davis will be the No. 4 seed.

The cut came at 5 over, with nine players going to a playoff to fill out the match-play bracket. Everyone 6 over and worse missed the cut. The 9-for-2 playoff began shortly after stroke play concluded Thursday morning.

Notables to miss the cut at 2026 U.S. Women’s Amateur
Paula Francisco (5 over)
Francisco made the playoff, but the Spaniard’s hopes of making match play ended with a double on the first hole.

Avery Weed (6 over)
The USA Curtis Cupper from earlier this summer bogeyed two of her final four holes to miss the playoff by a shot.
Ina-Kim Schaad (6 over)
The best-dressed player in the field bogeyed her final hole Thursday morning and fell one shot outside the cut line.
Chloe Kovelesky (8 over)
Kovelesky, ranked 25th in WAGR, shot 80 on Tuesday, and even with a bounce-back 72 in the second round, wasn’t able to make the cut.
Lauren Kim (8 over)
Kim (No. 16) is the highest-ranked player to miss the cut, doing so after a 79 in the second round where she shot 43 in her last nine holes.
Marta Silchenko (11 over)
The second-team college All-American this past season followed up an opening 79 with a 76 on Wednesday.

Lyla Louderbaugh (16 over)
Louderbaugh was a semifinalist last year at Bandon Dunes and struggled Tuesday, though she finished strong, playing her final eight holes in 2 under on Wednesday.
