The middleweight division will have the spotlight when Anthony Hernandez and Gregory Rodrigues headline a UFC show in Sacramento, California Saturday.
Hernandez had an eight-fight win streak end against Sean Strickland. The win later resulted in Strickland winning the UFC middleweight title against Khamzat Chimaev. “Fluffy” aims to return to the top of the rankings.
Rodrigues is on a three-fight win streak and aims to move past Hernandez in the rankings.
Also on the card, former ONE champion Reinier de Ridder aims to get back on track, while Mason Jones attempts to continue his momentum since returning to the UFC.

Rodrigues lands 5.53 significant strikes and averages 1.90 takedowns landed. Both are elite grapplers, with Hernandez, who just had a win streak snapped, known for a high-speed pace. He has also proved he can thrive in the later rounds.
Best bet
Rodrigues should have an edge early, but the longer the fight goes, a Hernandez win is likely. Hernandez might just be able to take Rodrigues down late in the fight.

Vitor Petrino lands 3.24 strikes and averages 2.60 takedowns landed. The former takes more damage, absorbing 4.23 strikes. The latter has impressed since the move to heavyweight, winning three straight. This a massive increase in competition for Petrino, which could be good for his growth but could also negate any momentum if he doesn’t have good shot selection.
Best bet
Spivac should overwhelm Petrino late in the fight. While Petrino has impressed, the level of competition both have faced favors a threat like Spivac.

He needs to win this fight to stay relevant in the division. Dolidze aims to enter the rankings.
Best bet
de Ridder is one of the most elite grapplers and strikers out there, but down on his luck. A rebound win is entirely possible, though Dolidze won’t be an easy opponent. Expect the fight to go the distance, with de Ridder outworking Dolidze.

Since his return, Jones has been on a roll and looks to continue it. Both can hit hard, but who will have the edge?
Best bet
Jones has tightened up his defense and can land a mean punch. The Welsh fighter is a man possessed since being given a second chance, and his run shouldn’t end just yet. Expect a violent start to the fight, with Jones coming out on top.

Carli Judice vs. Jeisla Chaves (Women’s Flyweight)

The answer to the last question is Judice, as Chaves struggled in her last fight. If Judice can punish Chaves early, the former should be able to walk her down and earn a knockout win.

Wint landed 13 significant strikes in his UFC debut on Dana White’s Contender Series. He’s unbeaten after competing for Titan FC, Fury FC, and XFC. Chatman has won four fights via knockout. Wint comes into this fight with plenty of momentum and fanfare. It’s his skills that do the talking, and it will here.
Wint will come in and attempt to make an immediate impact. That could result in him making a mistake and Chatman taking advantage. However, his dangerous power should result in a quick knockout win.
