The Ring is known for producing a long-standing magazine highlighting the best in boxing. The historic organization will now hold a boxing event in the middle of Times Square on May 2.

The card will feature Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney, and Teofimo Lopez. The event airs on DAZN worldwide.

Coming off a one-year suspension, Garcia (24-1) headlines the event, facing Rolando Romero for the WBA (Regular) welterweight title. Garcia beat Haney (31-0) last April, but the fight got overturned after the former tested positive for ostarine. A wild card, Garcia seems to be in a good place now.

The fast-handed Garcia looks to beat a former world champion and sparring partner in Romero (16-2), 2-2 in his last four fights.

“I’m here to do my job, knock Rolly out, and ride off into the sunset…I’m not worried about any sparring from eight years ago. I’m here to do a job, and that’s it… We’re not leaving it up to the judges, Rolly is getting put to sleep,” Garcia said.

Haney looks to return to form when he faces former world champion Jose Carlos Ramirez (29-2). Meanwhile, Lopez (20-1) defends the WBO and The Ring super lightweight titles against the dangerous Arnold Barboza Jr. (32-0).
