Tiger Woods apparently is taking next week off from golf.
Completely.
The Jupiter Island resident will skip his TGL match Tuesday, marking the first time he will not be playing for his Jupiter Links team, and he is not expected to play in the Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches.
Woods played competitive golf Tuesday for the first time since his mom, Kultida, died Feb. 4. He withdrew from last week’s Genesis Invitational saying it was too soon after losing his mom.

During Sunday’s broadcast of the Genesis, he said he was looking to “play more” in 2025. With the belief he needs to play at least once before the Masters, the speculation is he may enter The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, March 13-16. Woods is eligible for The Players because of his 2019 Masters win, the last of his 15-major championships.
Jupiter Links’ lineup for Tuesday’s 9 p.m. match against The Bay Golf Club will include Tom Kim, Kevin Kisner and Max Homa against Win Woo Lee, Shane Lowry and Wyndham Clark.
Jupiter is 1-2 and in fifth place in the standings for the indoor golf league that Woods and Rory McIlroy created.
