Tiger Woods was reportedly in attendance at Kai Trump’s high school graduation over the weekend. However, the 15-time major champion was reportedly late.
Woods, who was arrested for DUI earlier this spring, had left the United States for Europe, to seek treatment. Woods was found with multiple prescription pills on his person during the time of his arrest. Woods has undergone several major back and leg surgeries over the years, dealing with a lot of pain.
“I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today,” the 15-time major champion said in a statement posted to his social media accounts. “I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery.
“I’m committed to taking the time needed to return to a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time.”
Woods has since returned to the U.S.

Woods, who is dating Kai Trump’s mother, reportedly returned to the United States last week, in time for her high school graduation.
But Woods was late and reportedly did not stay long.
Woods made an appearance at the graduation
According to a report from Page Six, Woods “showed up at the ceremony 15 minutes late and left about 20 minutes earlier than the rest of the attendees.”
Meanwhile, Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump appear to still be going strong.
“Vanessa and Tiger are in love, still serious, and happy to see each other,” the source said, per Page Six.
They would love to stay out of the public spotlight – for now.
“Vanessa is a busy mom, which for the most part does not get in the way of the overall vibe of her relationship with Tiger, [who is] also busy with his life, golf, charity, video game work projects and kids,” the source added.
“Each was glad to see the other, although they kept in touch while he was away,” a second source added. “Both of them have responsibilities outside of their personal lives and that factors [into] how much time they can spend together. But each has an ex to share the kids with, so they have had enough time to keep the romance going.”
