Tiger Woods might be preparing for a return to the PGA Tour.
Woods, 50, announced his departure from the spotlight after being involved in a rollover accident on March 27. The 15-time major champion was arrested on suspicion of DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.

When Woods revealed that he was going to prioritize his health, the PGA Tour made it clear they fully support him.
“Tiger Woods is one of the most influential figures the sports world has ever known. Over the last year, I have come to deeply appreciate Tiger not only for his impact on the game, but for his friendship and the perspective he has shared with me as I joined the golf industry,” PGA Tour CEO Brian Rolapp said. “My thoughts are with him and his family as he takes this step, for which he has my full respect and support.”
Even though Woods hasn’t confirmed that he’s coming back to the PGA Tour, he was spotted on the driving range this week. Unsurprisingly, his swing is still as smooth as ever.

While some fans are itching to see Woods back on the PGA Tour, others think his time as a professional golfer should be over.
“We need him back in the spotlight fast,” one fan said.
“Ok. He’s Tiger Woods, lets put him on the policy board and ignore his reckless behavior. Funny how many second chances this guy gets, but absolutely no mercy to players who went to LIV. Hypocrites,” a second fan commented.
“Please golf world, move on from thinking hrs ever gonna be a competitive golfer on the PGA Tour again. It’s not happening,” another fan declared.

“And just like that, the Hero World Challenge will be most watched event in 2026,” another fan wrote on X.
What’s the latest on Tiger Woods’ legal situation?
Two weeks ago, Woods reached a plea deal for his DUI arrest. As part of his plea deal, his driving privileges have been suspended for five years. He must also pay a $1,500 fine.
“There are no exceptions,” Judge Darren Steele said. “If you were to drive for any reason at all, you would go immediately back to jail.”

According to TMZ, golf carts are also off-limits for Woods over the next five years.
